Sweet 16 @ The Manahawkin Holiday Inn

In this case, we were given the opportunity to help celebrate Nicole's Super Sweet 16 with all of her guests. One of the most widely chosen packages we offer to Sweet 16'ers are the video montages, where Elegant Engagements will professionally make a video slide show of pictures from your childhood and present them on an 80" HD widescreen for everyone to watch either during dinner or during cake. Nicole took full advantage of this!

As we kept the party going with top hits, Nicole presented a special dance by her and her best friend to a medley of Michael Jackson songs. Now that's a tribute!

School Cast Party @ The Crocket Middle School

Dance parties are always fun. Now take a dance, throw a school play into the mix and provide an afterparty to the recipe and you have yourself a amazingly fun time! Once again, Elegant Engagements worked alongside MDJ, and provided a night full of fun for the kids and chaperones.

While the PTA organized the event, Elegant Engagements provided the music and lighting. Some of the nights hit songs included the Cupid Shuffle, the Limbo, as well as the Cha Cha Slide.

The best part of the night was when it all came to a close and all the food was given to us to be taken home! With plenty of cookies, cake, brownies, rice crispy treats, etc., we will have a sweet tooth for a long time to come!

Wedding Reception @ The Carriage House

With St. Patrick's day in the air, the theme and colors of this wedding revolved around Irish Pride. Although the power went out the entire day, this did not stop Elegant Engagements from supplying the music and entertainment. One minute before the bride and groom were to enter the ceremony, the power kicked back on, and we were ready to go!

The cocktail hour had music being supplied by us as well. These parts of a wedding usually request light jazz music, including Jack Johnson, Michael Buble and Jason M'raz. All are great forms of cocktail as well as dinner music.

Moving forward during the night, the DJ/MC station is positioned on a main stage above the sweet heart table, where we can look down at the party. The nights specialties were the Electric Slide, where every family member and friend joined in as well as the Macarena.

Instead of doing a garter and bouquet tossing, we suggested a thourgh the years dance, where all married couples would join the bride and groom on the dance floor, and through a series of selection, the couple that has been married the longest was able to take home the brides bouquet that would have been tossed. All in all, it was a great event!

Wedding Reception @ The Bridgeport Holiday Inn

When it comes to a wild introduction, this party takes the cake! After providing the music for the cocktail hour, everyone lined up outside the main doors waiting anxiously for their introductions. As we prepared the audience, both sets of parents appeared with the Black Eyed Peas filling the room with music.

Right after them, we cued up "Tik Tok" for our bride and groom making sure that once their names were called, the exact part of the song was playing! "The party don't stop till I Walk In!" Everybody enjoyed each moment more than the last.

Not only did we play music all night long, but the bride and groom both requested we stay an extra hour!

School Dance @ John Witherspoon Elementary School

Working alongside one of our sister companies, Master Disc Jockey, Elegant Engagements was able to provide music and entertainment for the John Witherspoon School Dance. The function invited all students to attend, and the music never ended!

Since strong attention should be paid to the quality of the audio for children events such as these, the added plus for using Elegant Engagements is that all of our music is clean and edited just as the radio does. This is one of the biggest selling points that anyone can provide when supplying music for teens and children.

As always, some of this nights hits included "Bedrock", "Cha Cha Slide", as well as some classic 80's music for the chaperone's including throwbacks to Michael Jackson's greatest!
