Wedding @ Oyster Bay's Christ Church

This New Years we went out to Oyster Bay Long Island, to bring in the New Year, and entertain during a wedding reception. Both Gail and Tom had an amazing night, filled with dancing and laughter, and towards the end of the evening, their children gave such heartfelt toasts.

We were also able to ring in the New Year with a live simulcast of the ball dropping from Times Square!

Family Reunion @ St. Mary's Church

Bringing family together is one of the best things we can do. What better than to bring them together with 4 hours of non stop music! The afternoon consisted of kids games, dancing, speeches as well as contests that involved kids to guess the amount of objects in certain containers. We were more than obliged to announce each of those winners.

As the day grew on, so did the partying! We had everyone dancing in a circle around the events coordinator "Grand Pa Joe" and even had them in a conga line! All in all it was a great success.

Corporate Party @ Bloomfield Community College

The holidays were upon us, and Bloomfield Community College chose Elegant Engagements to bring the entertainment to a whole new level. After speaking with the coordinator, we were told the last dj that they had was a "...bump on a log." so it was up to us to make sure they had a blast!

After bringing out the motown and disco, which had everyone on the dancefloor, we livened it up with Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Rihanna. There was even a request for Rappers Delight!!!

PSK Winter Formal @ The Knights Of Columbus

Once again, Elegant Engagements was able to to pack the dancefloor with the TCNJ PSK Fraternity. The entire night consisted of great food and drinks, and an amazing set of the most current music to keep everyone dancing throughout the night. One of the big hits of the evening was the music video mixing. Elegant Engagements is capable of taking any music video and presenting it on our big screen plasmas, and mixing them all throughout the night.

After a break for dinner, and the Fraternity's superlative awards, the dancefloor packed in with every attendee. Dancing continued throughout the night until the last minute!

ZTA Winter Formal @ The Manahawkin Holiday Inn

Richard Stockton University's ZTA chapter has used Elegant Engagements for all of their DJ needs. The great part of this is the fact that we get to let loose and play a wide array of music from dance, to hip-hop, to the top 40! After some wild dancing, the ZTA President gave out the awards for all of their superlatives.

As soon as the awards were over, we kicked it up a notch, and brought out some favorites like the Cha Cha Slide, The Cupid Shuffle and some special requests were even for David Guetta and Bob Sinclair! We keep everyone dancing right up to the very last song!

Christening @ Maggiano's Little Italy

When you think Italian food, private affair, and musical entertainment, the only thing that should come to mind is Maggiano's Little Italy Banquet Hall and Elegant Engagements providing the music for it! We had the honor of taking care of one of our favored clients through continued business for their son's christening.

The day's highlights included Arabian dance music, belly dancing, and some classic hip hop throwbacks that filled the dancefloor!

Sweet 16 @ The Crystal Ballroom

Not only can the Freehold Radisson provide a great banquet hall, but their Crystal Ballroom is an excellent and spacious room to celebrate your daughter's Sweet 16!

Elegant Engagements packed the dancefloor on November 7th with over 100 kids, and kept them dancing for 5 straight hours! Sweet 16 @ Indian Springs Country Club

This past Friday, November 20th, Elegant Engagements provided DJ and Zap Photography for Ashley's Sweet 16. Her main entrance song, Sweet Dreams by Beyonce rocked the house! Following this was a song selection gauranteed to keep all the teens dancing, which included Stanky Leg, Donk, Walk It Out, as well as the Perculator!

Our photographer took over 350 pictures, which were zapped onto the big screen throughout the evening, and provided with this package is a DVD keepsake featuring every one of those photos for our guest of honor!

Wedding @ The Quarter Club In Philly

The Elegant Engagements team came together on November 6th to celebrate the wedding of Michelle and Andrew at The Quarter Club in Philadelphia PA. Shortly after the wedding the couple received a 30 minute photo highlight DVD capturing their family and friends dancing the night away with our DJs along with their cake cutting, first dance and other special moments.

Everyone, including our staff, had a terrific time at the wedding reception. More importantly, the bride and groom will always have our high quality photo keepsake DVD to remember their wedding forever!

Wedding @ The Greate Bay Country Club

On November 13, 2009 Elegant Engagements provided the musical entertainment at a Wedding Reception for Lauren and Brad in Somers Point, New Jersey. The party was entertaining to say the least. People were dancing all night and our DJs couldn’t keep them off their feet all night long! At the end of the reception, those who attended gave an outstanding review for both of our DJs. As always the Elegant Engagements Team enjoyed working at Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point, the food and service was outstanding.

Wedding @ The Toms River Ramada Inn

Elegant Engagements provided yet another exquisite reception at the Ramada Inn in Toms River on Novemeber 8th! Being a recommended vendor at the Ramada, Elegant Engagements was more than comfortable providing DJ sevrices for the bride and groom. Guests enjoyed 2 DJs, who made sure everyone was on the dancefloor, including the brides grandmother as well as the flower girls and ring bearer.

At the reception, the bridal party was introduced by The Black Eyed Peas- “Let’s Get it Started” while the bride and groom brought sexy back when introduced by Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back”. The bride and groom’s first dance was to the classic Lonestar song, “Amazed”. As the night progressed, the bride and her father shared a dance to Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”. Preceeding, the groom and his mother danced to Rascall Flatts’s “My Wish”.

Halloween Birthday Bash

Once again, Elegant Engagements had the honor and privilege to work alongside our sister company, Ambient DJ to provide a night full of birthday wishes and Halloween fun!!! Celebrating his 12th birthday at his home in Princeton, we kept the party going all night long with hits like Fire Burning On The Dancefloor, Tik Tok, and I Got A Feeling.

Not only were we able to entertain the family and friends for a birthday, but we were also able to run with the Halloween theme!

Mercer County Equine Park Fall Festival

Being in the Dj business allows our company to network with other business' that also specialize in entertainment. This past Sunday we worked with a company based out of central New Jersey called Ambient DJ, where the event was held within the Mercer County Park System.

From providing music to all ages, announcing the Horse Staging Events, as well as having a beautiful day to spend Djing outside, we created an experience for all families to enjoy. There were hayride, horse costume contests, as well as a variety of crafters.

Wedding @ The Westwood

Although the rain did not let up yesterday, the energy was high and the wedding reception for Joseph and Lindsay was an absolute blast. From providing a soft music selection for the cocktail hour, to a high energy introduction all the way to the garter and bouqet tossing, there was never a dull moment in the night.

Mr. and Mrs. Zampella took advantage of the Ultimate Lighting Package to beef up the nightlife experience on the dancefloor. And as for the dancefloor, let's just say it remained packed even after the party was over! Now that's a wedding to remember!!!

Annual Caregivers NJ Gala

When asked to entertain the Ocean County Caregivers Association of New Jersey for their annual gala which was held this past Tuesday, we were more than heppy to help out. Since they are a non-profit company, Elegant Engagements donated their time to make sure the crowd was entertained throughout the night with an eclectic selection of songs holding tight to a "Sinatra & Michael Buble Theme".

The ability to provide a wireless microphone is an absolute plus, especially when there are to be speeches made, awards to be presented and for everyone that is involved with speaking on a microphone that needs to be passed around. This is one of the many standards that Elegant Engagements is capable of doing at no extra charge!

Annual ZTA Walk-A-Thon

This past Sunday Elegant Engagements donated their time to the ZTA chapter at Richard Stockton University to provide music for their annual walk-a-thon to help benefit the fight against breast cancer. We provided music all day to keep their feet to the beat as they walked 100 laps around the track!

Wedding @ The Valley Brook Country Club

Although the weather was not on our side for weddings this past Saturday, Elegant Engagements was able to make the best of it during the entire event! We set up three different locations for Bruce and Erikka, providing music during their ceremony, cocktail hour, and the ultimate sound system package for their reception. Our Bose package was used all night long and brought the dance floor to life!

Sweet 16 @ Hemmingways

One of the best things about doing a Sweet 16 at Hemmingways on the Jersey Shore is not only the experience of a club like feel in their main ballroom, but the fact that the food is amazing!

We started off with easy mainstream music that all of the guests could enjoy, and when 7:30 came around, we hit them with the main introductions in style! After Danielle was introduced and escorted by her brother, her father gave an excellent toast, and dance music started and the dance floor was packed all night long.
